Free parking on Leland Ave in front of shop.  Enter through the glass door under the Fleck Knitwear sign.

Claudia says:  "Raising angora rabbits, growing most of my own vegetables, preserving/canning, enjoying fresh eggs from my little flock of beautiful chickens, baking bread, crocheting all kinds of items from potholders and doilies to seasonal decorations and cat toys."

Donna weaves scarves, jewelry and baskets, and says: "I have been working with fiber since the age of 8. It’s exciting to see something come to life in my hands, to see shapes emerge from from the materials as they guide my hands. As I weave with fiber or metal, the colors intertwining create new colors or create depth because of the way they interact. It’s a constant exploration that continues to inspire me. "

Karen is a local weaver having first learned the craft in the Springfield school system where a floor loom resided in the Home Ec classroom. Her interest was reignited in the 90s when she purchased her first floor loom and fell down the rabbit hole. Counting the days until her retirement from the pharmaceutical industry, she still manages to produce a wide array of kitchen towel designs, baby blankets, and shawls and scarves in her “spare” time. She champions pin loom weaving as a gateway to the big, wonderful weaving world.

Patricia says:  “Warp-and-woof has segued to painting patterns. 

Thread colors have been transformed into painted transitions.

The textures of my fabric have become playful paint strokes.”
